 Our Operating Fund helps to promote and grow the Hiawatha Community Foundation and the Funds it sponsors.  

Mission

The Hiawatha Community Foundation supports programs and projects that enhance the quality of life for Hiawatha residents today and into the future.  

Profile

The Hiawatha Community Foundation is an Affiliate of the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation (GMCF).  By being an affiliate of the GMCF there are a number of benefits that balance local contraol with professional management services.  GMCF is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization, which enables its affilited funds to received tax-deductible contributions.
