This is the 10 year anniversary of Ruby Slipper Goat Rescue! Your generous support during the past five years of the Hiawatha Community Foundation Match Day fundraisers has made a meaningful difference in so many lives. Because of you, not only have rescued goats received the care they desperately needed, but their stories of resilience have also inspired people of all ages who see reflections of their own challenges in these remarkable animals.

Your donations have helped provide essential resources such as shelters, wheelchairs, prosthetics, and security measures to keep the goats safe. They have also made it possible to cover routine and emergency veterinary care, medications, and the daily needs required to give these animals a comfortable and dignified life.

In 2026, your continued support will ensure that Ruby Slipper Goat Rescue can provide ongoing care for our disabled goats. Donations directly support veterinary expenses, medications, mobility equipment, hay, feed, minerals, milk replacer, bedding, fencing, and shelter.

Many of the goats in our care live with disabilities caused by injury, congenital conditions, or neglect. Their daily and emergency care is extensive, and we rely on your generosity to meet these needs.
