Students Champion Fund

NEK-CAP, Inc.'s Student Champions fund was established to provide financial support for school fees, school supplies, and costs for extracurricular activites such as sports, theater, community clubs like Scouts and 4-H. Keeping kids active in activities they enjoy encourages teamwork, critical thinking skills, and confidence, which are all social-emotional skills that can be used for life. Eligibility is a quick review of family income, up to 80% of the Area-Median Income of Brown County. Each student is eligible to receive up to $125 of assistance per 12 months.

Eligible payments of the funds include:

School Supplies and Fees including lunch and book fees
Sports Fees-school or community team fees
School Activity fees-music, scholars bowl, drama, etc
School fees required to graduate
Latchkey fees
Hygiene cabinet supplies for the schools
Other activities determined to help students with social-emotional connections and student success
