Specific Need

We are looking to improve our mission in several different areas.  We are looking to contiune to improve the sound quality at the Brown County Historical Society's Memorial Auditorium, improving the lighting system at the auditorium, creating more events for visual, musical, dance and theatrical arts and more. Our goal is to create more events and opportunities for artists of all ages to express their talents and showcase them in our area.

Profile

Covid-19 hit our organization pretty hard, being unable to finish a production we were working on or safely hold events for several years.  We are excited to be back and to bring our art loving NE Kansas area productions, visual art events and more.  It is an expensive process to bring a theatrical production to the stage - nearly $3,000 in rights alone for some productions.  We want to ensure these experiences are enjoyable for all and around for years to come.  We know an investment is needed to help to upgrade the facilities to guarantee this can happen.  We are so grateful for the support our area gives our organization and the embrace that the community shows to the arts.  We cannot wait to move forward with your help!
